Modern BS 1363 sockets (standard UK sockets) already have built-in shutters that prevent children from inserting objects into individual holes. Socket covers are not recommended by RoSPA as they can bypass the built-in protection and introduce a choking hazard. For additional peace of mind, we can install child-resistant socket covers or upgrade to the latest safety-rated sockets.
