How often should my home electrics be tested?

The current recommendation is every 10 years for owner-occupied homes, every 5 years for rental properties, and at every change of tenancy. Older properties or those with known issues may benefit from more frequent testing. If your property has not been tested within these periods, an EICR is highly recommended.
